What the work is, day to day

Each month a business gets a calendar of posts. AI drafts the posts, captions and image briefs. You edit every post to the brand's voice, check facts, dates and links, and finish the image briefs so the month is ready to publish.

How a job is delivered

  1. Draft posts and captions

    AI

    AI drafts the content calendar, posts, captions and image briefs from the brief and brand guidelines.

  2. Edit to brand voice

    You

    Edit each post to the brand's voice, check every fact, date and link, and finish the image briefs.

  3. QA review

    Review

    A WorksAfrica reviewer checks the finished work against the brief and the checklist. They approve it or send it back with clear notes for you to fix.

How you get jobs

  1. When a client orders AI Social Content Engine, the job opens on your Jobs board and we notify qualified members.
  2. You apply. The WorksAfrica team picks one applicant or assigns the job directly.
  3. Each job has a delivery window that starts when you're assigned. Finish every step on time: a missed deadline means the job is handed over and its pay is lost.

How and when you're paid

  • You earn your share of each order you deliver.
  • Your pay is confirmed when the client accepts the work, or automatically when the review window ends.
  • WorksAfrica pays on the 15th and 30th of each month, to your payout account.

Questions about this role

Do I post on the client's accounts?

No. You deliver the finished posts and briefs; the client publishes them or schedules them in their own tools.

Do I need design skills?

No. You write and finish the image briefs; designing the images is not part of this job.

Does it cost anything?

No. The Academy, its tracks and its badges are free, and WorksAfrica never asks you to pay to get work.

Do I need experience?

No paid experience is needed. The track teaches the skills, and the quizzes and reviews show when you're ready.

Where do I work from?

Online, from wherever you are, on a computer with a reliable internet connection.
